Job Requirements
- 2 years of ICU, CVICU, or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Valid Kansas RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to care for cardiac and medically complex ICU patients
- Comfort managing ventilated patients, multiple drips, and high-acuity workflows
- Open to floating to like units within scope as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, respiratory, and multisystem conditions
- Care for patients requiring ventilator support, CRRT, and advanced cardiac monitoring
- Support open-heart and post-procedure recovery patients as needed
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips according to patient condition and unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate safe, effective patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and respond quickly to changes in patient status
- Contribute to a team-oriented critical care environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes
