Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico

- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 – $1,700
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Schedule Notes: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week; at least 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- Charting System: Epic experience preferred
- Patient Ratio: 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with New Mexico or compact license obtained prior to start
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required; 2 years preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC preferred/required as applicable
- Experience with triage, trauma, stroke, and general emergency nursing care
- Comfort working with adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume ED
- First-time travel nurses welcome
- Ability to float to like units within scope as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Perform triage, IV starts, medication administration, and ongoing patient evaluation
- Support trauma nursing, stroke response, cardiac care, and other high-acuity emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established Emergency Department protocols
- Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a fast-moving clinical environment
