Travel CVOR Tech Job Details

• Location: Wichita, KS 67214
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital CVOR / Open Heart Surgery
• Cases: CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• On Call: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
• Start Date: 10/26/2026

CVOR Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• Current active Kansas licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NBSTA certification
• Must be vascular trained
• Open heart and cardiovascular surgical experience preferred
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a busy operating room environment
• Assist with open heart and vascular cases, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Work closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient care
• Maintain readiness for scheduled and on-call cardiac surgery cases
• Contribute to a patient-centered, high-quality perioperative experience
• Adapt quickly to unit workflow, policies, and documentation expectations
• Help support a growing cardiovascular program with a strong team culture
