- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
- Setting: Acute care telemetry unit
- Location: Independence, Missouri
- Start Date: 12/14/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Openings: 3
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent telemetry, med-surg, or similar acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and advanced assessment skills
- Comfort managing vasoactive drips and higher-acuity telemetry patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for telemetry patients with cardiac and medical needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, including vasoactive drips, according to clinical standards
- Support procedures and care related to central lines and PICC lines as needed
- Complete thorough assessments, documentation, bedside shift reports, and hourly rounding
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
