Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Sacramento, CA 95823
Take your Labor & Delivery nursing experience to a rewarding travel Registered Nurse assignment in Sacramento, California. This 13-week L&D RN job offers the opportunity to support mothers and newborns in a fast-paced, critical need setting while working in California’s capital region.
Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030-$3,190
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Position: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS required
- Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
- High-risk Labor & Delivery or High-Risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
- Support safe, compassionate care throughout the labor, delivery, and birth process
- Monitor maternal and fetal patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, obstetric teams, and clinical support staff to promote positive outcomes
- Deliver patient education and emotional support to mothers and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established hospital protocols
- Contribute to a team-focused environment in a critical care nursing setting
