Travel Labor & Delivery RN Job in Modesto, CA | 12-Hour Night Shift

- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
- Schedule: Overnight nursing support in a Labor & Delivery and maternity care setting
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience required
- Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 3 years preferred
- High-risk OB or high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- BSN or related bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Assist with deliveries and support the clinical team during high-acuity situations
- Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and provider orders
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout the care process
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiology, and interdisciplinary staff to support positive outcomes
- Deliver compassionate education and emotional support to patients and families
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment during night shifts
