Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department, ER, or acute care nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
- Strong adaptability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-moving clinical environment
- Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred
- Previous RN, medic, or technician experience in acute care settings is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and other essential ED procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, technicians, and support staff
- Prioritize care effectively in a busy environment with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
- Support a positive, professional, and compassionate patient experience
