- Unit Highlights: 34-bed rehabilitation unit with a patient ratio of 1:7
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Rehab nursing experience preferred
- Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from serious injury or illness
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Monitor patient status, assess progress, and support each patient’s rehabilitation plan
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective recovery outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately using the electronic health record system
- Provide education and encouragement to patients and families throughout the rehabilitation journey
- Maintain a calm, professional presence while helping patients reach their recovery goals
