Travel MRI Technologist Job – Hospital MRI Department in Albany, New York

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift: 8-hour nights
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM preferred; 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM also considered
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- 3 years of MRI technologist experience required; must be able to independently scan
- Experience performing routine MRI exams in a hospital setting
- Ability to scan inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
- ARRT certification preferred or ARMRIT certification required
- Active New York state license with injection privileges
- Current BLS certification
- Comfort working with Epic EMR and multiple MRI scanners
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities
- Perform routine MRI examinations with accuracy and efficiency
- Scan inpatient, ICU, and ER patients in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
- Operate advanced MRI equipment, including 3T and 1.5T systems
- Maintain high standards for patient safety, comfort, and image quality
- Collaborate with the care team to support timely diagnostic imaging
- Document imaging procedures and workflow details in Epic
- Follow department protocols and maintain compliance with facility policies
