Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active, current state Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
• Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Ability to manage documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Commitment to patient safety, compliance, and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Create functional treatment programs that support safe and effective return to mobility and community activities
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to address barriers to discharge and support care coordination
• Complete patient and family education, including home exercise programs and equipment training
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group therapy sessions based on patient needs
• Document evaluations, daily notes, goals, discharge planning, and billing accurately and promptly
• Support student learning when assigned and contribute to a positive educational environment
• Participate in professional development, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with state practice acts, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies
• Promote a safe environment for patients, coworkers, and self through consistent safety practices
