Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Current CPI certification
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, collaborative healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting as needed
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changing conditions in the ER
- Support efficient patient flow in a busy emergency care setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary clinical staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
- Deliver compassionate care with a strong focus on teamwork and patient experience
